Abstract:
The global pandemic COVID-19, which was unveiled in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, has now affected everyone in the world. To combat the spread of the pandemic and limit the number of cases, national governments have issued a number of restrictions that restrict the movement of people and impose other restrictions in a number of sectors, such as healthcare, education, information technologies and cyber-security. As a result, many companies have been forced to allow their employees to work remotely, starting a new era in information technology, where job performance, service delivery and communication became more directly dependent on information and communication technologies (ICT). The issue of employee security and the lack of face-to-face communication when performing telework has become even more important. As a result, there is a need for secure systems that facilitate and help to ensure the current communication, as well as provide the company's management with general information about the team's mood and feelings. The purpose of this article is to reflect the research carried out and the results obtained in the study, as well as to share the progress of the prototype development and the safety measures implemented in it. We developed a new approach to a web application development that aims to improve internal communication within the company between the company's employees and the manager. As a result, a prototype of a communication tool has been developed, which is based on the performed research. The prototype has been developed following the experience of good cybersecurity practices and is based on generally accepted standards.
