Abstract:
The research study deals with a proof of concept of a new educational model that Tecnologico de Monterrey university will implement for all the new students next august 2019, The Educational Model "TEC21" assures the development of solid, comprehensive exit competencies that will help you to solve, in a creative, strategic manner, the challenges of the present and those whose will face in the future. Some students were used to make a comparison with the old and new model.

The previous semester the students had the offer to enroll in classes:
1) Video Game Project,
2) Data Base, and
3) Numerical Methods to work with the same project as teams.

In order to make a comparison we used the same classes with other students, as every regular semester. The main class for the project was the Video Game, students should develop a video game that uses a data base. The Prize for the best video game for the recruited students was to get the best final grade in the tree classes for every student that is part of that team, compared with only the best grade in the video game class for the other students. The results were surprisingly beyond what was expected, the conclusions lead us to predict that the new educational model will be a hit in the innovation of education worldwide.
