Abstract:

During the change from the system of state-exams in teacher Education and training to Bachelor- and Master degrees in the Bologna process the organization of studies at the Berlin Universities underwent a deep change.
SInce 2006 the Technische Universität Berlin implemented a new form of service for the students to manage their studies and provide advice.
According to the change of curriculum a new form of cooperation of the different departments of the university had to be established which led to a Cooperate Commission for Teacher education and Training (Gemeinsame Kommission für Lehrerbildung- GKLb).
The relationsship between Berlin Universities in this field also had to be fixed in a new way.
This presentation will show the process of installing this new form of organization and its outcome up to date. During the year of 2011 the Bachelor- and Mastersystem of teacher education and training in Berlin will undergo an evaluation after an 8 year trial period.
