Abstract:
In each subject of the University Degree in Business Administration, we should work simultaneously on the specific concepts of the Degree (specific competencies) and their own personal skills for efficient development of the student´s future performance (generic competencies). Now, it is beyond doubt that these generic competencies are not able to be acquired neither in one year nor in a single subject. Specifically, according to the final report of the University Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Rey Juan Carlos University), the transfer of each competence has been structured through a set of subjects (where each has assigned itself several generic competencies), as a result, at the end of the four-year period it would had made the complete transfer of all of them.

In this scenario, when would the University be in the position to certify a student has shown to overcome an appropriate level of generic competencies? We propose a monitoring system through the four-year period of the University Degree, in order to control the assessment on the gradual achievement of these generic competencies. Specifically, the University Degree final report fixes completely and accurately, when and where (year and quarter) every one of them is to be developed. It is our job to unify the definition of each competence, to determine the learning objectives, to set the indicators of both, results and assessment, and to program its implementation in a coordinated and phased manner taking into account the difficulty of each course.

Having said that, in order to track the development of competencies of each student, is certainly necessary a Global Monitoring System. It consists on a computer application for the storage of information, a tool than would enable teachers and students to keep record of the achievements made.
