Abstract:
The Level "synthesis and evaluate" is the highest in cognitive theory bloom taxonomy. When students are able to reach the peak, it is said to have attained the high level thinking. High level thinking skills is one of the elements that have been given emphasis in the process of teaching and learning in the 21st century. The students are able to achieve the level of synthesis and assess, they should be given an approach that has deductive teaching and learning, so that it will be more focused on applying skills to think better. There are various approaches to enable students to be trained towards this means; one of them is the Socratic Method. Past research indicates that teaching methods is capable of making the students generate thought better. The presence of technology in Socratic Method approach is seen as a more drastic method to make students think with a higher level better. A total of 30 students were involved in this study in pre-experimental as well as interviews for the purpose of support for looking at the extent to which this approach can make the Socratic Method students achieve the highest level in the bloom taxonomy
