Abstract:
On-line teaching is becoming an increasingly present. New institutions design their teaching plans from this perspective and in-person teaching must adapt to the new challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. This has resulted in a long learning and implementation process that the International La Rioja University (UNIR) has been perfecting for some time.

One of the main objectives of this university is to provide comprehensive and barrier-free learning. Through on-line learning, students can pursue a degree while simultaneously retaining their work positions and attending family responsibilities. On the other hand, UNIR strives for such training to be based on emerging technologies and seeks to be regarded as the best Spanish-speaking online university. Teachers are playing a very important role within the teaching-learning process, by humanizing online teaching.

In this study we will address one of the strategies used to by teachers in the field of Design to reach out to students and provide them with more personalized attention through new strategies used to provide the most comprehensive and constructive feedback possible. We are referring to correcting activities using video.

We will present the tools and options available to provide feedback with this method. We will also analyse how this type of correction entails improvements both to the student’s understanding of these commends and to the teacher’s ability to communicate with him, when compared to traditional text-based methods used in online teaching.

Using the experience acquired by UNIR teachers of the Design field we will build a proposal applicable to other areas, based on the analysis of these results and on student satisfaction.
