Abstract:
The aim of this communication is to highlight cultural sensitivity and emotional self-concept as functional keys to understand and apply academic, cultural and leisure programs that help to improve coexistence in the training and educational spaces of European universities. The studies carried out reveal a coexistence that needs to increase intercultural relations and social links in order to improve the quality of life and well-being of both individual Chinese international students and the community as a whole. To address this need, a multidisciplinary and plural team of personal and institutional profiles has created various materials with institutional strategies, good practices and guidelines. After the exhibition, the aim is to create synergies among the attendees, broaden horizons and discuss key aspects to be taken into account to promote the social inclusion and academic success of Chinese international students in the universities of the European Union.
