Abstract:
As such, the teaching and learning process is a dynamical process that demands a continuous evolution of the teacher’s practice, because of this, it is indispensable to be at the vanguard regarding the teaching techniques and processes to improve the academic performance of the students, analyzing and evaluating the teaching actions and activities so they represent a positive influence in their academic preparation trough the transmission of solid knowledge that allows their effective incorporation to the professional environment.
In this sense, in this document we describe in a general way the experience derived from the transformation of the teaching strategies that have had a facilitating impact, and allowed us to achieve an effective development of the teaching and learning activities. A highly effective learning scheme is presented which has been applied to the students attending 1st, 4th-5th and 9th-10th semesters of Electrical-Electronic Engineering courses at UNAM’s Engineering Faculty. These strategies are based upon a fundamental principle: the orderly, adequate and complete planning of the curricular courses in such a way that it responds to the what, how and what for, allowing the students to develop capabilities and competence directed to the self-learning, collaborative learning, to the reflection, creativity and productivity. These strategies comprise the use of ICT´s as support tools useful for the improvement of the quality of the teaching process.
