Abstract:
ICT tools are great allies to improve learning in some contexts of technical degree subjects. This work addresses the influence of using different Moodle tools to improve learning. The study addresses two different areas of learning, on the one hand, learning through images and games that allow them to acquire complex knowledge, and on the other, helping to provide study techniques that allow them to develop autonomous learning through the use of the bibliography proposed in a subject. The subject in which these tools were implemented is in the subject Thermal Engineering of the Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the School of Mining and Industrial Engineering of Almadén. For image learning, Moodle questionnaires have been used that allow them to know, consolidate and remember parts of the thermal machines taught in the subject. To promote autonomous learning, a glossary was implemented that allows them to know exactly the bibliography they should consult for a specific concept of the subject. The results have shown that the use of these tools enriches the student's learning, improves their skills and contributes to achieving the competencies defined in the degree more easily.
