Abstract:
The article focuses on the application of mindfulness in leadership positions. It enriches the current discourse with knowledge from disciplines that work with trauma. Their sophisticated theoretical base offers a more holistic view of what it means “to be present”. They also suggests practical techniques and interventions that offer functional and effective ways that make mindfulness more understandable and fun. This can result in improved ability to be present, communicate, solve problems and cope with stress.

This article also contributes to the topic of mindfulness and leadership by emphasizing the role of the nervous system. Mindfulness is important to all of us because all people are stressed every day and we all wish to live better, function better and feel good. This article focuses on the position of leadership both because its executors are exposed to stress to a much greater extent and also because the effects of their actions affect not only themselves but the whole social and environmental network. It also draws attention to the drawbacks associated with nervous system dysfunction, which are often overlooked or misunderstood in the mindfulness community. The nervous system and its functioning base on principles and patterns. Although every individual is unique, and so are his / her manifestations, a deeper understanding of the nervous system functioning can help us identify and understand the causes of an individual's problems or failures.
