Abstract:
We are a group of experts doing research in psychology, pedagogy and labour market who has worked together for several years in the University of Alcala. Our main aim is to help students to have a better professional and personal development. Furthermore, we are in permanent contact with enterprises, employees, professors and other members of academic staff. And, we have also developed several researches related with labour market incorporation of our students and graduates plus their personal and academic development in the University.
Considering all these aspects we have decided to design a subject where we can integrate all the results which have been obtained as well as our knowledge and experiences. Assessment, that is a continuous and global process in our project, is essential in this research which can benefit the three main aspects of orientation: academic, personal and professional. We try to help students to acquire basic competences and to do the follow up of his/her professional development.
This subject was addressed to students in their first year of Pharmacy Studies and was developed during four months, then, the subject was offered as a transversal activity, in the academic year 2010-11.
In this contribution, we present the design of the subject, some results of students’ works, and the final evaluation.
