Abstract:
Due to the social, cultural, economic and technological influence in Mexico and the world, the public higher educational institutions have evolved their educational models. It is the responsibility of the higher education to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary in order to achieve satisfactory performance in now day organizations. Now days is almost impossible for the enterprises to produce without the help of the technology, that is why there is needed to teach the use of them in the schools, and the competency teaching model endorse the use of the technology in the teaching classes and practices of the students. Financial management for these technological resources is facing great difficulties due to different issues. This latter limit their easy acquisition, and affect the quality of the education of students. This paper discusses the identification of financial management strategies that are performed in higher education institutions, based on a case study. Furthermore, an analysis in order to establish an adequate system of strategies for attracting financial resources to increase economic capacity and use it to purchase technology is presented.Keywords:
