Abstract:

Introduction:
The Teaching Innovation Project, "Psychomotricity, music and plastic and visual expression in early childhood education: From university classrooms to early childhood classrooms" (UV-SFPIE_RMD18-189473) involved an inter-multidisciplinary approach between areas of the Department of Didactics of the Musical, Plastic and Corporal Expression; at the same time, a contact between university teaching specialists and children.

Objectives:
The aim was to bring the practical reality of the children's classroom closer to the university, through the work of theoretical-practical tools that facilitate critical reflection from the areas involved.

Method:
It was developed from three subjects of the Degree: "Musical Processes in Early Childhood Education", "Didactics of Physical Education in Early Childhood Education" and "Didactics of Plastic and Visual Expression in Early Childhood Education". From corporal, they built and evaluated sessions following specific methods and models; from music, they experienced the Dalcrozian rhythm; and, from plastic, they worked the representation of the space and the usable materials in the work of the corporal knowledge. Later, visits to the educational centre would be organized to observe psychomotricity sessions. Finally, they had to reflect on this systematic observation. RESULTS. The skills to develop a critical attitude towards the role of motor education in the curriculum and the elaboration of didactic proposals that favour music-artistic perception and expression from integrative proposals, were the result of the University-School interaction.

Conclusion:
Although the importance of advancing in these spaces where teachers from different stages, university students and infants converge was demonstrated, the need to achieve educational-training spaces appropriate to the socio-educational reality must also be stressed.
