Abstract:
Introduction:
The teaching-learning process is undergoing a significant evolution over the years, so that in the last decades the traditional conception of a teacher with his textbook has been changing towards a new concept where predominates the interaction between the teacher and the student through the different computing resources.
At the present time, the education does not only happen in the traditional context, the interaction becomes constant, and there is created a virtual environment in which both the pupil and the teacher must receive the information in a dynamic way to build the knowledge through the exploration and study of the problem, subsequently it becomes necessary the existence of a direct and immediate relationship between the mobile communications and the education in all its levels, demanding a rupture of all the existing barriers up to this moment.

Objectives:
To “share” the information that is provided by the group of educational innovation in Physiotherapy (GEIP) to students through their mobile devices.

Material and Methods:
A mobile application has been created, available in two operating systems that nowadays have a major market share (Android and iOs, accessible both free in its official shops), with the purpose of the students of the Grade in Physical therapy of the University of Valencia could gain access to the audio-visual resources prepared by the GEIP, thanks to the fact that there exists wireless connection in all the centers of the university.
After the development of the above mentioned applications, students are informed that they can get the applications, and they are requested to install it in its particular mobile devices to be able to interact through them.

Results:
- A better sharing of knowledge is obtained.
- A more direct access to the information is reached.
- There is a higher interest on students in the subjects involved, simply because of the use of a widely used device: a mobile phone.

Conclusions:
The use of mobile platforms in higher education facilitates the access to information by the students, which ensures a greater interaction between them and their professors, as well as the possibility of the use of teaching methodologies according to the European Space of Higher education (EEES).
