Abstract:
From 13th to 26th of July 2014, 30 students and 13 professors from 6 universities and 5 different countries participated in the Intensive Programme Hercules 2014 (IPH-14) at Pavía, Italy, and surroundings. This Program was organized by Politechnika Opolska of Opole, Poland, and funded by the European Community (EC) through Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP).
During these two weeks students of architecture, building management and building engineering had to draw different historical buildings and cityscape views every day, freehand style, with just a pencil and a sheet of paper as main tools, working in multicultural teams form by students of different universities and countries.
This has been an interesting helpful and rewarding experience in which both, professors, and students could be able to share not just one classroom, but a whole city to learnt each other not just drawing lectures and working experiences, but also, different points of view, customs and life experiences enriching each others as students, teachers and persons and helping Universities in the internationalization process in which they are involved.
This paper reflects the different aspects of this experience highlighting the most significant points of this learning and teaching experience, improving the learning process of students and the skills improvement of professors. Keywords:
