Abstract:
Nowadays the university is in a develop situation and it is quite interesting that the University development grows at the same time as technology does. In this process a correct supply of technological infrastructure must be provided in order to cover any need of teachers, students and university staff.

Mentoring is the process to support learning in different variations and models of development. Consist on a long-term relationship that covers development needs and helps to achieve the full potential and benefits all parties (mentor and mentee). There are two types of mentoring: formal and informal. In a formal mentoring program, objectives, activities and benefits are perfectly defined as well as the structure mentoring plan which will be the guide to follow during the current year. On the other hand, informal mentoring is the relationship between mentor and mentee based on the flexibility of its structure and the informal relationship.

New technologies have become essential tools in the university and it must be shown in all pedagogical fields not just in relation to learning but also to foster relationships. We can find a lot of advantages in the E-mentoring both formal and informal way. The aim is not to transform the classical mentoring into a distance mentoring but to a more complete mentoring that provides a great flexibility and allows a continuous and collaborative work despite the physical distance between participants. In this way, mentoring will be put into practice based on a previously designed structure and also by relying on a virtual support. E-mentoring can be done anywhere, at any time and helps both mentors and mentees have time to give considered responses. This method allows an easy access which provides immediate and continuous feedback, increased involvement and participation in the project and enables students to express their own ideas.
E-mentoring is proposed nowadays as a project that can allow us to improve the classical mentoring style and therefore to promote a more constructive pedagogy.
