Abstract:
Physics teaching in engineering education can not be appart from the new technologies due to the great potential that these resourses have for meangfuly learning of abstract concepts.
The design and development of a didactic strategy for learning Energy Conservation is presented. The proposal has been derived from educational research and it is designed to use it in the Laboratory of a first university course of Physics. It integrates simulations and actual experiments, as well as resolution of pencil and paper problems.
Commercial latest technology and applets of free acces at Internet were adapted for this purpose. The activity encourages the students to construct creative learning, which can be evaluated through successive experiences group. Dynamic updating for students’ training under a constructivist approach could be made by indicators obtained to evaluate the activity while achieving the learning objectives proposed.
