Abstract:
Our working group carries out research into new models of evaluation within the Educational Innovation Project “Generic Continuous Evaluation Models” directed by Dr. Sanjiv Prashar. This project forms part of the fourth edition of the Innovation in Education Program of the University Rey Juan Carlos.

We have put in practice several systems of continuous evaluation in different courses taught in the University Rey Juan Carlos in both science and arts degrees. Crucial to our success in this project will be the assessment of the systems being used.

In order to discover this we have designed several questionnaires directed towards the student in order to collect their opinions concerning the continuous evaluation. The questionnaires have been presented at the beginning and at the end of the course and when put together the results give us a global picture of student feeling towards the new evaluation models. Other indicators are also considered, none more so than the pass rate compared with previous years where traditional evaluation methods were used.
