Abstract:
The following study aims to briefly show the advantages of m-learning regarding the development of English communicative skills in Secondary Education. Multilingual education is part of students' everyday life and therefore learning is expected to be more and more attractive for kids every day.

In addition to other aspects of English learning, the development of a communicative competence is as much as a priority for the schools as it is for the families. Through the use of mobile applications, the intention is to cover all the linguistic skills and to encourage self-management and self-learning while improving the students' abilities.

Mobile applications could be a really useful and convenient tool if they are used in an appropriate way, both inside and outside the classroom. This study will provide an overview of a variety of applications and the different ways in which they can be used to benefit students of English in secondary schools.
