Abstract:
The contribution presents the first results of a multidisciplinary didactic experiment carried out as part of the Mitigation Risk Design (MiRiDe) workshop promoted by the School of Architecture, Urban Planning, Building Engineering of the Polytechnic of Milan and aimed at developing some life skills to increase awareness and management of risks underlying relational dynamics.

In particular, the work presented concerns the theme of conflict management, expressed starting from the identification of three macro-areas (interpersonal, intrapersonal and structural) and three existential contexts (structured environment, training environment, spontaneous relational environment) that characterize young people today.

The paper is structured in four parts.

In the first part, the university youth context is presented in order to understand the training needs and the most recurring situations that require strengthening relational skills.

In the second part, the conception and planning phase of the training course is briefly described, considering in particular the articulation of the four chosen themes (diagnosis of conflict, emotions and conflict, dysfunctional paradigms and dynamics, conflict resolution).

The third part analytically describes the teaching and training tools developed (conflict hexagon, multilevel test, strategic areas diagram) with some applications proposed to the participants.

The fourth part presents the first results emerging from the participants' assessments and possible lines of development and implementation of the training course.
