Abstract:
Getting dressed is a ritual present in every day of our lives. Wearing shoes, clothes, suits, uniforms, garments, uniforms and headgear means giving shape to our identity, communicating who and how we are, sharing some trait of our interiority. But the dress is also the expression of our thoughts, of our intimacy, of the "rituality of celebrating and believing". Colored threads link our appearance with our being. It's up to us to elegantly integrate the parts.
Sometimes, in the midst of the confusion of so many different things that occupy our days, we reduce (or even lose) awareness of what we are experiencing: we certainly have a deep and authentic desire that guides us, but perhaps we are unable to "give the word" to when we are looking.
The paper presents the main features of an experience carried out in six training days aimed at young people and adults to reflect on some existential issues starting from a preparatory exercise of authentic listening, capable of dialoguing with the current situation, with the present, with the moment singular that each one is experiencing.
The paper, retracing training days, is divided into six chapters. In each chapter the laboratory activities proposed to the participants are summarized, highlighting their contents and training tools and a trace of the considerations that emerged in the moments of sharing that concluded the meetings.
Chapter One, "EXISTING AND RESISTING: between projects and improvisations" deals with the theme of the presence of the unexpected in everyday life.
«The future is always the future of a present. We design it starting from what we are now. What is the problem? It's just that not everything can be planned» (Silvano Petrosino).
Chapter Two, “TO CLASH: between positions and decisions” introduces the topic of relational conflict.
«There is no life without conflict or discussion. Classical tales are archetypal stories of conflict. They not only narrate the past but are like windows through which to grasp different and singular perspectives of reality» (Anselm Grün).
Chapter Three, "FUTURE: between staying and inhabiting time" presents reflections and experiences related to time management.
«We go through an oscillation between being exhausted and being very excited and therefore we are ultimately very tired. There is a tiredness that divides us as if by division and it is the pathology of our time» (Isabella Guanzini).
Chapter Four "(DIS)ORIENTATIONS: between convictions and conventions" offers an insight into the theme of the beauty of educating and the "reference points" that guide personal action.
«How many times, looking in the mirror, or looking inside, do we not like ourselves at all? And how many times do we reproach others for defects and imperfections? We wish we had a special eraser to magically erase defects, but is it really what we need to live better?» (Alessandro Chelo).
Chapter Five "TRUST: between intuition and action" explores the theme of the comfort zone and the power of trust as a way to overcome some rigidities.
«Intelligence is in the head, love in the heart. And then there's the trust that you never know where it is until you see the eyes of the one you love and know it's there» (Fabrizio Caramagna).
Chapter Six "TEAM: between relational spaces and places" proposes a reinterpretation of the ways in which it is possible to activate collaborative processes.
«It takes two flints to light a fire» (Louisa May Alcott). Keywords:
