Abstract:
The decline of the economic activity, caused by the crisis youth, has caused an increase in the young unemployment across the European Union (onwards EU). Indeed, according to the European Commission, unemployment of young European people between fifteen and twenty-four years has increased a 50% since the beginning of the crisis. Particularly, in Spain the situation has reached heights of true social alarm, since the level of youth unemployment there is double than in the EU. The latest figures published by Eurostat show that Greece (53.8%) and Spain (52.9%) are the two countries with higher rates. In the whole EU, over the 30% of the unemployed youth have been unemployed for over a year.

In order to deal with this situation, within MONDRAGON Corporation, the Innovation in Advanced Business Services - ISEA S. COOP and the Faculty of Engineering of Mondragon Unibertsitatea are developing a project that brings together under a methodologically structured process, the entrepreneurial activity of unemployed young university graduates and companies intrapreneurial processes. Indeed, nine different companies and thirteen unemployed university graduates are working together on this structured process. Therefore, the present article describes this structured process focused on generating new business opportunities in the short term and based on intrapreneurial projects featuring interdisciplinary teams composed of young unemployed university graduates.
