Abstract:
The project COV-ID aims to analyze the legal, economic, health, and safety implications of monitoring people and their contacts in medical facilities. The goal is to develop and implement a system that monitors and tracks people and their contacts within medical facilities, with the possibility of using it in publicly accessible areas where large groups of people are expected. In this article, we will present the various phases of the project, including its implementation and benefits, particularly regarding the protection of medical staff. Through the implementation of the monitoring and tracking system, the project seeks to enhance the safety of medical facilities for both patients and healthcare workers. The project also aims to educate the public on the importance of monitoring and tracing as an effective measure to combat infectious diseases, and to encourage individuals to adopt responsible behavior in healthcare settings. The educational component of the project includes the development of informational materials and training sessions for medical staff and the general public. Ultimately, the COV-ID project aims to contribute to the global effort to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and improve healthcare practices for the benefit of all.
