Abstract:
This article deals with a study on which the types of evaluation used in university courses of graduation in three institution of the Santista district, in the state of São Paulo, and to verify which of them the professors use more frequently. There had been the participation of a hundred thirty nine (139) professors of several courses and disciplines of three private and public colleges of Santista district, in the state of São Paulo. A questionnaire has been used to investigate which types of evaluation are more frequently used. The participation was voluntary and the application of the instrument was through e-mail with a link to the form “survey” on the Internet. The results had evidenced that the most type used by the professors is the participation in classroom and such strategy is the one that the professors judge more adequate for the evaluation of the performance of the pupils, followed by the individual dissertation test. The study also demonstrates that the least used type of evaluation is the test in group and objective test in group. It is suggested that other studies should be carried through with a greater number of participants of different institutions so that the knowledge on the subject can be extended. Keywords:
