Abstract:
For years we have trained university students using Service-Learning, attending social needs and collaborating with different organizations. The recipients of the service have varied, but the motor component in its different expressions has always been the basis of the intervention. From the teaching guides of the subjects involved and the relationship of the contents with the social need to work on, it is possible to learn in real contexts. It is about facilitating the acquisition of competences and values, endowing meaning to the learning. In this paper we present the steps that follow the active and experiential methodologies: detection of the field of action, project planning, application, evaluation, reflection and recognition. These phases are exemplified through a case in which the Learning-Service has been applied with University students of the Teacher Degrees in the area of Physical Education.
