Abstract:
Continuing teachers’ training in an education system is a significant indicator of the strategy to increase the quality of the education process. In addition to the initial training in the psycho-pedagogical field, teachers’ training contributes to their awareness of the dynamics of changes in the surrounding reality, which influence and determine changes in several components, including curriculum.

Without a continuous updating and adaptation of the curriculum, the training process cannot be efficient and cannot meet the needs and requirements of students. In this sense, this school year we organized and implemented a training program in the field of inclusive education for 350 teachers. They participated in the training program to train and acquire skills in the field of inclusive education. In order to motivate the teachers participating in the training, in addition to the program itself, a package of incentives was offered aiming at: support tools for pupils and teachers, scholarships awarded to teachers whose students have achieved better learning results and had a better attendance at school, as well as awards for teachers who have achieved a high level of inclusion in the school in which they teach.

In this paper we present the results obtained from the implementation of this training program in the field of inclusive education, which highlight indicators of increasing the quality of the training and education of pupils. A questionnaire was administered to the teachers participating in the training, with the purpose to identify their level of satisfaction with the quality of the training program but also to quantify the results of their pupils, beneficiaries following the implementation of this training program.
