Abstract:
EVIVE was an Leonardo da Vinci project in which partners from universities from Germany, United Kingdom, France, Bulgary, Turkey and Romania developed in the last two years with the aim of improving education across the vocational education and training (VET) sector focusing on values. Often the values taught are those laid down by the curriculum in various countries. EVIVE allowed us to compare how values were perceived in different countries and in what context they were actively promoted via the country’s curriculum and educational guidelines, especially the VET sector. Considering that most EU member states are facing similar problems, it is important to share innovative approaches in the VET that have been developed within this context. This transfer of innovative approaches and the development of best-practice models were the main aims of the project.
