Abstract:
Mobile technology advancement and its use have increased significantly in various fields including tourism, economy, banking, library, entertainment, and education. These advancements have also led the educationists in Pakistan to pay attention on the use of technology in the educational filed. This study aimed to experiment if learning via mobile or other mobile like devices is implemented in higher business educational institutes in Pakistan, would it make a positive impact on the business students in terms of making them efficient to increase their subject knowledge. Using experimental research approach, faculty members of the selected business schools in Pakistan were contacted to apply Google Classroom in their classes. The scores, achieved by business students, of midterm and final term examination, before and after the application of Google Classroom, were used as pre and post tests to compare the difference between the scores of learning via mobile or other mobile like devices and learning via traditional methods. Results show a statistically significant difference between the two scores achieved by the business students. The scores of students in the m-learning classes were significantly high than that of the traditional classes. Therefore, business schools in Pakistan are recommended to implement m-learning in order to increase the leaning of students.
