Abstract:
The final project (PFC) is an essential part of engineering education, which we believe must meet two objectives: to provide integration of the disciplines learned during the race and to the extent possible, to specialize in a topic to facilitate workplace integration. The existing curriculum at the University of Almeria, state that to obtain the degree the various studies of Agronomy (IA or ITA) will require the submission of a PFC. The rules of procedure PFC are distinguished as modalities, being the following to ITA: Technical Project, Research Work and Professional Practices.
This work studies the preferred mode of final project in the successive curricula of these degrees, plan 1988, 1996 and 2000 within 5 degrees above for the University of Almeria from 1988 to 2010, with approximately 3000 students analyzed.
It has been observed as the tendency in the successive changes of curricula has been to increase the number of the research works compared to technical project, and the professional practices are the least chosen by students.
This study shows, about the particular degrees of agricultural engineering and degrees of engineering in general, if this research it is needed or it responds to particular interests of university teachers. Keywords:
