Abstract:

Exploring the crucial relationship between early childhood education and subsequent academic accomplishments of first-grade students, the article offers a comprehensive analysis of the fundamental role played by preschool education in fostering well-rounded personality development and foundational academic skills. The study underscores that preschool education extends beyond mere academic readiness, encompassing intellectual, physical, social, and emotional domains. Highlighting the multifaceted development facilitated by preschool education, the research assesses the alignment between its objectives and broader educational goals. It identifies core skills and competencies crucial for academic excellence, including cognitive abilities, speech development, and socio-emotional skills. The article delves into specific educational objectives addressed by preschool education, such as communication skills, socialization, perceptual abilities, motor skills, cognitive development, creativity, independence, and fostering a positive attitude toward learning. Utilizing a comprehensive research methodology involving questionnaire surveys, online inquiries, and in-depth interviews, the study presents research findings.
