Abstract:
Cooperation Office for Development and Solidarity of the ‘Universitat Jaume I (UJI)’ of Castellón has supported, for some years, initiatives contributing to the Development of poor Countries. Some examples of these initiatives are the programs that promote stays of Teachers, Educational Innovation Projects, Research Projects, Practical Solidarity and Development Cooperation Projects.
This communication shows the projects submitted by the Research Group ENDAVANT ("Enfocament de la diversitat com un avantatge"), conformed by professors of the Department for Education and the Department of Developmental Psychology, Educational, Social and Methodology of the UJI. It also explains the development of our last project, including a detailed description of the reality where it is framed, the detection of its needs, goals, methodology, activities, participants and results. Thanks to this type of action the project contributes to improve the educational reality. Moreover the relationship among the three universities involved is being improved (Universitat Jaume I, Castellón, National University Enrique Guzman y Valle-La Cantuta of Lima and the Amazon National University of Madre de Dios-UNAMAD located in Puerto Maldonado).
