Abstract:

Global economic developments put an emphasis on higher business institutions to prepare professionals possessing a wide range of transferable, multi- and cross-disciplinary skills, value-driven holistic leaders, able to effectively and efficiently respond to corporate changes and challenges. This research is aimed to prove that business communication training, which integrates written and spoken courses, leading to International Professional Qualifications from LCCI, valuably contributes to this objective.

Research unit groups:
RISEBA university, EBS (European Business Studies) programme students.

Methods:
A longitudinal research (10 years) including:progress tests, feedback (self, peer, faculty), gathered through personal talks, observations, questioneers and interviews with faculty, employers and partner universities.

Findings:
Being flexible, customer-focused and integrative, methodology proves effective in fostering integrated skills’ development, multi and inter- disciplinarity effect, powerful personal development ascertained by study participants, professors, peers and employers.
