Abstract:

At present, increasing emphasis is placed on safety, protection of human life and health, the environment and the prevention of major accidents. By complying with current legal standards, using modern technologies and preventative measures prevent the occurrence of extraordinary events, but the risk of such an event cannot be totally excluded. Safety management of establishments manipulating with dangerous substances includes using appropriate technology and processes, as well as establishing an effective organizational structure (e.g., operational procedures and practices, effective education and training programmers, appropriate levels of well-trained staff, and allocation of necessary resources). These all contribute to the reduction of hazards and risks. In order to avoid the occurrence of an extraordinary event or in the case of its occurrence, it is critical to have well-trained staff with practical experience and knowledge of what to do in emergency situation.

The article describes the current state of training and education of employees of filling station in the field of accident prevention. The analysis of the current of education and workplace training of filling stations employees was done by questionnaire and personal survey. Personal survey was done on a selected filling station. In case of the questionnaire, we focused on randomly selected filling stations. Based on the results of the personal survey, the proposal of measures to improve the current situation in the education and workplace training, was designed.
