Abstract:
The primary objective of the project is to provide education through personalized teaching lessons in a varied range of subjects and vocational fields. This will be raised on a unique and innovative digital platform powered by adaptive learning strategies by expert facilitators. A core team of facilitators and IT experts have joined hands for this project.

The idea to raise this digital platform was initiated keeping in mind that the principal objective of development planning is human development and the attainment of higher standard of living for the people. This requires a more equitable distribution of development benefits and opportunities, better living environment and empowerment of the poor and marginalized. There is special need to empower women who can act as catalysts for change. In making the development process inclusive, the challenge is to formulate policies and programmes to bridge regional, social and economic disparities in as effective and sustainable a manner as possible.

Presently the work is on at the senior secondary level (grade 11 & 12) and slowly middle school students, college students, vocational courses, organisations having access to village communities, women in the villages desirous for change, health and family welfare units, organic farmers, water harvesters, environment friendly sustainable housing planners will be brought into the system.

The project has been selected by the Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) under the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, India as one of the most innovative projects out of several hundred entries. Now the project is being incubated and hand held by CIIE, which is a great motivation for us.

Recently International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) India invited us for a meeting and gave a patient hearing about the project. They have agreed, in principle, to help create data analytic programs essential for the project’s adaptive learning strategies. This has been possible due to our relentless deliberations with IT Architects at IBM, USA to help create a robust digital platform.

There has been substantial progress but a lot remains to be explored in partnership among key participants.
