Abstract:
Today’s learners are more technologically advanced than any generation before them. The use of technology and online learning can engage students in their learning environment. Blended learning has proven to be a valuable tool in providing learners with an educational experience where learners are encouraged and motivated to learn. This article discusses how instructors in two institutions in the gulf nation of the United Arab Emirates are using blended learning to engage learners in an interactive meaningful learning environment where face-to-face learning is combined with innovative educational technologies.
