Abstract:
In the engineer's education at vocational schools, universities of applied sciences and colleges particularly the specialist knowledge is asked, the graduates after their education have to offer to the future employer. To attain the specialist knowledge, they must get especially good education, i.e. have also especially well certified instructors and lectures at the respective school. This seems to be difficult especially in technical area, in particular in the case of use of software applications, because instructors and lectures itself are often not enough and well trained. On the other side the developing progress of the software systems is rapid. It leads to “knowledge gap”. This work presents a model, so called Eplan Certified Student model (ECS) which traces exactly this problem and gives a solution for it. It is based on cooperation between the market leading industrial company and educational institutions. This work gives insights into the cooperation, gives practical advices how to maintain cooperation successful and how schools and universities can become the part of the idea. Keywords:
