Abstract:
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a collaborative work methodology for the creation and management of a construction project. Its objective is to centralize all project information in a digital information model created by all its agents. The interest generated in the public and private spheres by the application of this new technological form of projection is evident in the field of Engineering and Architecture projects. When the BIM Commission was launched in Spain, the roadmap was marked with two final milestones. On the one hand the "Mandatory use of Projects written with BIM technologies in public tenders for December 2018" and on the other hand the "Mandatory use of BIM in public tenders for infrastructure for December 2019". With these legal premises, the professionals of Engineering and Architecture have set themselves the objective of implementing this way of doing projects in their companies. In this way, they are currently very concerned to establish implementation strategies with BIM in the projects developed within their organizations and in their professional practice. (Law 9/2017, LCSP, and Directives 2014/23 / UE and 2014/24 / EU, of February 26, 2014,). In this sense from the Universities and Schools of Engineering and Architecture, are being implemented in their subjects training programs, which contemplate design of BIM projects. Currently, most BIM projects are designed in BIM-3D format (Three-dimensional Modeling). This communication intends to take a step forward in the BIM models, advancing towards the establishment of work and learning methods oriented towards the implementation of the BIM-4D (Programming) and BIM-5D (Cost Control) models. Leaving pending for future studies the implementation of Modelado BIM-6D (Sustainability) and BIM-7D (Operations Management)
This communication aims to present the training experience applied to Industrial Engineering projects at the Higher Polytechnic School of Jáen, and within the framework of the Engineering Projects Course. We will present the results applied, by establishing a work methodology that allows us to start with a three-dimensional BIM-3D modeling of an industrial building, designed with the program (REVIT-Autodesk). From this model we will obtain a real-time simulated planning and construction planning (MS-PROJECT-Windows), through the realization of a video 3D of the whole construction process (NAVISWORKS-Autodesk) simulated BIM-4D. And on the other hand, we will implement the Real Cost Control associated with the model, by making a budget in ( PRESTO-RIB-Spain) and an updated price base (PREOC-Atayo) modeled in BIM-5D.
This work will allow students to introduce themselves in the way of working in projects in BIM collaborative environments, using different programs. The result will be a BIM 4D and 5D modeling applied to industrial constructions, as a learning model
This work can be used as a manual or a guide for the students that are introduced in the BIM projects, to control the execution times of the model of a BIM-4D project, and the control of BIM-5D costs, from a BIM-3D modelKeywords:
