Abstract:
This paper explores the innovative approach for the identification of cybersecurity threats in the context of Mathematics didactics, focusing on the challenges and strategies for secure learning environments in disruptive communication scenarios. As digital learning platforms for Mathematics education increasingly rely on real-time communication and data exchange, safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of educational interactions tremendously critical. In particular, an exploration about how Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networking (DTN) solution can address the challenges posed by intermittent or unreliable network connectivity, which often complicates secure data transmission in remote or low-resource settings. This work highlights the technical complexities associated with ensuring both the security and efficiency of these networks in educational contexts, where the protection of intellectual property, student privacy, and the reliability of instructional content are paramount. By exploiting potential vulnerabilities in Mathematics e-learning systems, we identify key cybersecurity concerns and propose innovative solutions, including encryption strategies, trust management, and secure communication protocols, tailored to DTN environments. This work aims to advance the secure delivery of Mathematics education under disruptive communication conditions, ultimately contributing to the development of more resilient and equitable learning systems worldwide with an innovative approach.
