Abstract:
Learning with the use of various modifications of E-learning methods has been used for a long time. Until recently, distance learning has been used mainly to support university or secondary school studies. The implementation and development of this learning method were made possible by the development of modern information and communication technologies. At present, practically the entire education system is in the distance learning regime. Not only schools but also other educational institutions and companies are involved. To implement a distance form of teaching, necessary technical equipment had to be prepared first. The next step was to acquaint teachers, pupils and students with a suitable communication environment and its possibilities. Frequently used communication platforms include MS Teams and Google Meet. The next phase consisted in the continuous creation of new digital teaching materials or the modification of existing ones. The retrospective verification of knowledge acquired by the students also should not be left out. The system of distance education is already sufficiently stabilized and it is possible to obtain valuable information from its application in individual schools. The method of an online questionnaire survey was used to map the current state of distance learning of technical subjects at secondary and primary schools. Both student and teacher respondents were involved. The most important questionnaire items included digital teaching materials, teaching methods, methods of verifying the acquired knowledge by pupils and the technical equipment used by pupils and teachers in distance learning.
