Abstract:
Nowadays technology has produced important improvement in our society in different fields like Education. Therefore, it can be used to respond one of the most important features in our civilization: diversity. Moreover, in our classes, students have different learning process where the materials have to be adapted. The aim of our study is to create an adapted curriculum for disability students on University context using ICT. More specifically, our proposal has been focused on one student with ASD. In our methodology, the student had the lesson notes before it was explained in class. The complex ideas were supported with visual aids. At the end of the lesson, he had to see some videos to remember the most important concepts. The student need to hear some podcast where it was explained how to act in the exam. Furthermore, some visual aids appeared on his mobile phone to lead on the exam period. This is a pilot study that has been applied in ten sessions, however our students shown significant improvement in executive functions and social skills due to this type of methodology. In the future we would like to apply this adapted curriculum to other disability students.
