USING OF TECHNOLOGIES: IMPLEMENTATION OF EDUCATION IN A REAL CASE OF THE OFFICIAL BILINGUAL PROGRAM IN MURCIA

Abstract:
The new bilingual education programs all over Spain is a reality that is becoming evident in most schools, especially in Murcia. The available tools and the training courses offered by the community for people, who have to guide and work using this new methodology, are still scarce and inadequate, so there is an important need to study about the reality and individuality of each center and try to establish proposals improvements and track them to ensure that this project is implemented gradually and successfully.
Teachers must cover the individual children´s necessities adapting their teaching style to the real context and using the new technology is one of the best languages to access to a real significative knowledge. Children use new technologies everywhere at anytime, so we must modernize the teaching styles at the same time we design our own method. It is really important to avoid book publishers and other methods which don´t really promote significant knowledges.
In order to do it, the main objective of this study is to generate knowledge about the use of CLIL methodology (Content and Language Integrated Learning), through the study of a real case of a Bilingual Schools program of the Region of Murcia (CBM) along 3 years. This school is call C.C. LAS CLARAS DEL MAR MENOR and this project has been coordinated with the Murcia University.
During each year we have been taking notes, using questionnaires (kids, teachers, parents), analyzing all of them and making proposals for improving year by year the teaching method, the new technologies, the CLIL system and so on .
This study let us know that a new change is possible in our daily lessons. We must listen carefully the children's necessities, we must speak them in the same technology language, we must use a new active pedagogy where kids will be able to express themselves and acquire new knowledges through the experimentation, collaboration and specially learning through play. They hate staying in the same position during hours, they need to move their bodies constantly to express their ideas and in this context new technologies are one of the best resources to promote games, experiments and other activities where kids will really experiment the real knowledges and they will be able to keep them like significant knowledges.Keywords:
