Abstract:
The role played by interior design is crucial in human behaviour, as it transmits sensations that must be captured clearly and intensely. These sensory perceptions are provided by the building materials, their finishes, their textures, i.e. it is a visual language process that is facilitated through a visual medium.

First-year students enrolled in Architectural Interior Design begin to use virtual drawing techniques to capture the ideas they are assimilating and creating. Blogs, which offer the opportunity to encourage interaction through entries and comments on a specific topic, are the starting point for learning about construction materials, not from the methodological model between teacher and student, but through the virtual conversations of their peers, the opinions of their classmates, about their work, aided by these drawings and photographs, which will later be a fundamental part of their future profession. The innovation in the educational method is learning through the interaction of all those involved in the process, teachers and students, in a virtual environment that favours not only creation, which is fundamental in the design profession, but also participation and intercommunication.
