Abstract:
The new Basic Document on Energy Saving of the Technical Building Code (CTE-DB-HE) will be an essential document for the development of the professional work of future Industrial Technical Engineers or Graduates in Industrial Engineering at the University of La Rioja in the energy and building sector. Learning to apply the CTE-DB-HE in the subjects "Fundamentals of Thermal Engineering", common to all Industrial Engineering Degrees, and "Thermal Machines and Engines", specific to the Degree in Mechanical Engineering, will ensure that students acquire and understand the fundamental concepts related to the energy, environmental and economic impacts associated with the residential sector.

This work is oriented to improve the teaching-learning processes, as well as the results of the students. The innovative solution presented seeks to facilitate the development of professional skills and increase the degree of motivation of students for learning. Therefore, the necessary materials have been designed to carry out the different activities in both subjects and the different deliverable practice models, which will serve as assessment instruments for the selected skills. These assessment instruments will also facilitate the progressive learning of these skills by the students.
