Abstract:
Nowadays, corporations all over the world consider very relevant to include different actions that take into account Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the design of the strategies carried out by companies. In this sense, there is great interest in knowing how companies proceed according to behaviors stablished internally towards all the possible stakeholders, like the community or the environment. In this study, we will consider the relation and the influence that social responsibility can have within different sectors, like for example, the education field, and the impact that it has on society.

Through the use of qualitative research we will see that the way to manage the relationship with stakeholders, both internal and external, constitutes a fundamental element in the development of a CSR strategy in any type of company. Thus, the adequate identification of the expectations and demands of the interest groups, and their integration into the company's strategy, allows the implementation of a useful tool in order to achieve a socially responsible positioning that could give some kind of answer to educational issues.

In this way, companies implement their CSR policies through a series of instruments, such as codes of conduct and good business practices, which share the essence of being volunteers. The results will show that while some academic positions defend self-regulation and consider that CSR decisions should be made exclusively within the private and business sphere, others voices explain that the regulation and application of certain government public policies is better and necessary, because it can activate a legal framework that encourages companies to adopt certain types of behaviors.
