Abstract:
Introduction:
Research is one of the major axis in the formation of postgraduate students especially those belonging to the health science. Using online tools allows the development of these programs without your physical presence allowing remote participation.

Objectives:
Evaluation of an online program in research methodology established 3 years ago for post-graduate university students in the area of Oncology.

Method:
After a presentation of the project to the students (about 15 per year), it has developed a training program in Oncology research with access to online forums and questions from the students. The different sessions were taught with power point and pdf format with online access. We used the impact on research presentations at conferences and publications for evaluation.

Results:
Since its implementation in 2012, there have been five oral presentations at international conferences, 2 papers at national conferences, 17 international posters, 2 national posters and 5 publications in journals with impact factor. Additionally, two of the works have been presented awards at the conference (one national and one international).

Conclusions:
The research training programs online allow adequate education. Evaluation methods as the impact of the work done by students in conferences or publications with impact factor are needed to evaluate their quality.
