Abstract:
With the emergence of internet, the amount of available information has been multiplied. Education, as an important sphere of social development, is also directly influenced by this technological development. The implementation of information and communication technologies (ICTs) exerts a remarkable influence in the improvement of educational systems. Educational websites for teachers are a fundamental resource for the broadcasting of knowledge in current university education. University teaching requires methodological changes and it may be very useful to know the possibilities that technology currently offers us in order to put aside more traditional methodologies and move on to active learning through interactive teaching-learning methods.

The website we intend to create offers information, resources and materials related to the actions of the multidisciplinary teaching team of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The web will allow an exchange of information between new and experienced teachers, involving a change in the conception of teaching processes under a collaborative environment. This exchange of information in a collaborative way encourages teachers to develop more elaborate cognitive strategies, enriching communication among group members, and also the acquisition of knowledge at both group and individual levels. When university professors become involved in the group, they communicate with other colleagues to solve problems and build knowledge together. This multimedia tool will allow us to describe and comment on university experiences (difficulties in classes, exchange of impressions, special needs), exchange practical information (evaluation requirements, current legislation), exchange academic information (materials, resources, doubts about the realization of activities or works, teaching guides) and make various comments related to some aspect of a subject or the teaching profession.

The preliminary design of this tool will allow us to better understand the usefulness of employing these tools in the teaching processes and thus have a starting point for future updates. Being a versatile tool, it will allow us to assess its advantages in the training processes, always making an appropriate use depending on the needs and the characteristics of the situation of the novice teachers and mentors.
