Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to create a pedagogical technology for effective pedagogical management of the educational process of students in terms of virtual educational environment of the University, which allows students and teachers to navigate in the flow of educational information, efficiently and in a timely manner to resolve the issues of students' assessment and evaluation and enables us to provide personal support to students while working with educational materials in a virtual environment.
The objectives of this study include:1) the identification of potential threats to the virtual educational environment for personal self-development that reduce educational and motivational potential; 2) the development of new and adaptation of existing methods of pedagogical management and their further integration into pedagogical technology for their most effective use in the virtual educational environment.
The methodology of the research includes conducting content analysis of virtual information and educational environment of the University towards to the efficiency of the organization in the system of pedagogical management, monitoring of satisfaction of participants of educational process in educational possibilities in a virtual environment on the basis of questionnaires and student academic performance on the results of the assessment. Based on the obtained data, we eliminated or optimized insufficiently effective options with the sequential inclusion of the most useful teaching methods in the technological stages of implementing training in a virtual educational environment. In the experiment participated 67 teachers, including 75% teachers with a scientific degree, and 3452 students of various fields of study. The study was being conducted for 6 months. Axiological, personality-oriented and communicative-activity approaches are used for theoretical and practical understanding of the problem of teaching students (in our case, a foreign language) in the virtual educational environment of the University.
Thus, this article explores the possibilities of optimizing pedagogical management in a virtual educational environment and also presents a new technology for organizing effective pedagogical management of students' educational process in a virtual information and educational environment of the University. The technology is implemented in stages, has certain algorithms for implementing the components of the educational process and allows to modify the educational model in accordance with the current needs of participants in the educational process. The results show that educational process in a virtual environment includes interrelated components − the implementation of effective pedagogical management by the teacher and the actual development in using educational Internet technologies by students. It was found that properly organized pedagogical management contributes to the maximum implementation of the unique features of the virtual educational environment. Also, 86% of the participants of our research emphasized the widest didactic tools and preconditions for the intensification of the educational process in the virtual educational environment, new possibilities for developing the students' intelligence, forming their moral priorities, independent search for information and its production. During the research, experimental virtual training courses in a foreign language were created for students of non-linguistic specialties.
