Abstract:
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders that mainly affects children and often persists into adulthood. Therefore, early and accurate detection of ADHD symptoms is critical for early intervention and effective management. Traditional diagnostic methods, which are often based on subjective assessments by parents, teachers, or doctors, can lead to delays or inaccuracies in diagnosis. However, the advent of artificial intelligence presents great potential in the accurate and timely detection of ADHD. By leveraging data-driven algorithms, AI systems can analyze behavioral patterns, physiological signals, and neuropsychological data to accurately identify ADHD symptoms. Additionally, AI has demonstrated its potential in supporting the education of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly in improving social skills. The present paper discusses ways in which AI can be utilized to detect ADHD characteristics, as well as supporting the education of students with ADHD.
