Abstract:
The personality of university teacher, characterized mainly by their personal maturity and pedagogical erudition is the most important factor in realization of pedagogical activity and the shaping of personalities of university students of teaching study program. In addition to influencing of students’ personalities, it is the role of the university teacher to develop students’ motivation, especially the internal one, given the increase of motivation towards the profession performance positively influences the quality of realization of pedagogical activity. As a part of the pedagogical practice, the personality of the prospective teachers is formed and therefore one of its main tasks is not only to focus on the use and application of acquired theoretical knowledge in the school practice, but also to enable a university student - prospective teacher to improve his pedagogical competence and gain new skills. For this reason the paper focuses on the issue related to the teaching practice, given that the implementation itself allows the student develop his positive attitude to teaching profession, which ultimately means that it focuses on the preparation as a motivating factor for the students – prospective teachers.
