Abstract:
Throughout the last decades, Spain has been one of the main countries receiving immigrants. The mechanisms of adaptation and integration by any individual who starts and carries out a migration process is a very complex phenomenon that involves learning processes, especially when the individuals try to enter the labour market. However, the rate of job seekers is much higher in the group of migrants. In this context, the literature shows the importance of the willingness to learn as a key element of lifelong learning. The aim of this paper is to analyse the willingness to learn of Moroccan migrants and native unemployed. The results obtained are discussed as regards as the processes of acculturation and the legitimizing ideology of neoliberalism. Finally, we present different recommendations and / or guidelines to be taken into account for the improvement of the effectiveness of the socio-labour insertion programs of unemployed Moroccan migrants.
